Melina Soochan is a piano teacher, singer-songwriter, recording artist, and live performer originally from Montreal, Canada. She started taking piano lessons at the age of 4 and is a graduate from McGill University’s renowned Bachelor of Music (2008) program in Montreal, as well as a recipient of the Performer’s Diploma (2010) from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. As a recording artist, she has released 3 full albums and is currently working on her 4th. As a live performer, she specializes in singing while accompanying herself on piano, with a vast repertoire ranging from jazz standards to today’s top hits. She currently performs regularly in high end restaurants and hotel resorts from West Palm down to Miami. Her teaching methods include fundamentals of classical technique, theory and repertoire, as well as beginner jazz for teens and adult.
